Traveling by bicycle is a good way to get to know the beauty of the Atacama Desert, the driest in the world, however you have to take into consideration the climate, which is very dry, with great solar radiation, on the other hand temperatures are very high. Elevated in the day (above 30ºC) and very low at night (below 1ºC), another important factor to consider is the altitude, the Atacama desert is about 2900 meters above sea level Therefore it is necessary to acclimatise to the height before doing some demanding physical activity. In every walk that takes place you should not forget the sun factor, hat, and lots of water, before embarking on a destination know well the distances, since in the desert, between a town and another, there are great distances.
