The Atacama Salt Flat
The Salar de Atacama spreads out to the South of San Pedro de Atacama on a surface of 3,000 square kilometers and at 2,305 meters above sea level. It is a plain Located between the Andes Mountain Range and the Domeyko Mountain Range and bordering the Salt Mountain Range.

San Pedro de Atacama Church
The Church of San Pedro de Atacama was built as a parish before 1641. In March 1557 the provitero Cristóbal Díaz gave mass at the ayllu of San Pedro de Atacama, with Juan, the main chief of Atacama and the other Indians.
